ABOUT

In 2009, the Saskatchewan Mining Association and the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, Government of Saskatchewan collaborated on hosting the annual Mining Supply Chain forum. In 2015, the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association became a third partner.

The event has evolved over the years to include other components, including a supplier trade show.

The purpose of the event is:

  • To increase awareness of current mining projects in Saskatchewan and the related supply chain opportunities for manufacturing goods and services companies.
  • To provide practical information to existing and potentially new suppliers on how to be a preferred supplier to the mining industry.

The Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum is the primary mining supply chain event in western Canada that brings together the Saskatchewan mining industry and local suppliers to enhance their global competitiveness and expand markets.
